Answer: D= 20m

Explanation: V1 = zero  , T = 2 s , V2 = 20m/s

*d = V1 t + 1/2 a t²                                                      , a = v/t = 20/2 = 10 m/s²

d = 0×2 + 1/2 ×10×2²= 20m

Given :

  • Initial velocity , u= 0 m/s
  • Final velocity , v =20m/s
  • Time , t= 2 sec

To Find :

The total distance travelled by the object

{\purple{\boxed{\large{\bold{Formula's}}}}}

Kinematic equations for uniformly accelerated motion .

\bf\:v=u+at

\bf\:S=ut+\frac{1}{2}at{}^{2}

\bf\:v{}^{2}=u{}^{2}+2aS

and \bf\:s_{nth}=u+\frac{a}{2}(2n-1)

{\underline{\sf{Answer}}}

We have to Find the distance travelled by the object

By First Equation of Motion

\rm\:v=u+at

Put the given values

\sf\implies\:20=0+a\times2

\sf\implies\:a=\dfrac{20}{2}=10ms^{-2}....(1)

Then ,

By using second Equation of motion

\rm\:S=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at{}^{2}

Put the given values , then

\sf\implies\:S=0\times2+\dfrac{1}{2}\times10\times4

\sf\implies\:S=0+\dfrac{4}{2}\times10

\sf\implies\:S=0+2\times10

\sf\implies\:S=20m

Therefore, The total distance travelled by the object is 20 m.
