An object starts moving. It covers a distance of 2m in one second. It covers a further distance of 5m in 2seconds in the same direction. Waht is tge averade velocity and acceleration?

distance = 2 m
time = 1 sec

II CASE:-
distance = 5 m
time = 2 sec


Average velocity = S / t
{S - total distance travelled
t - total time taken}
.:Average velocity = ( 2 + 5 ) / ( 1 + 2 )

.: Average velocity = 10 / 3

.: Average velocity = 3.3 m / s
