distance = \pi r /2displacement is the shortest distance. Connecting center and two arc points, it will form a Right angled triangle with radius on two sides and displacement on third side.so displacement is  \sqrt{2} r
     so ratio =( \pi r/2)/ \sqrt{2} r   so ans = \pi :2 \sqrt{2}
