Answer :-

15m/s

Explanation :-

Given :

Acceleration = 5m/s^2

Time = 3s

Initial velocity = 0 (as it started from rest)

To Find :

Final velocity = ?

Solution :

According to the first equation of motion,

\boxed{\sf{}v=u+at}

where

v is the final velocity,

u is the initial velocity,

a is the acceleration and,

t is the time taken.

Put their values and find “v”

\implies \sf{}v=0+5m/s^2\times 3s

\sf{}\implies 5m/s^2\times 3s

\mapsto \sf{}15m/s

Therefore,final velocity is equal to 15m/s

Equations of Motion:

Relation among velocity, distance, time and acceleration is called equation of motion.

There are three equations of motion:

\sf{}First\ equation\ of\ motion: \ v = u + at

\sf{}Second\ equation\ of\ motion: \ s = ut + \dfrac{1}{2}at^2

\sf{}Third\ equation\ of\ motion: \ v^2-u^2= 2as
