Given :-

An object is thrown at a angle to the ground moves in a path and falls back to the ground that the initial and final points lie on the same horizontal line.

Solution :-

Work is done when the force applied on the object makes the object in motion and changes the direction of the force.

Here, Force is applied in the vertical direction

The initial and final point also lie on the same path .

Therefore, The height = 0

Now,

Work done = Force * displacement

Therefore,

Work done = Mass * accelerated * height

( Force = Mass * Gravity)

Work done = M * G * 0

Work done = 0

Hence,

The work done would be 0 .
