HOPE IT HELPS :

Given :

Distance traveled in first interval = 35 m

Time taken = 4 s

Distance traveled in second interval = 50 m

Time taken = 6 s

Solution :

Average speed = Total Distance / Total time

Average speed = ( 35 + 50 ) / ( 4 + 6 )

Average speed = 85/10

Average speed = 8.5 m/s

Hence the average speed of object is 8.5 m/s

Answer:

8.5m/s

Explanation:

given

total distance = 35+50=85m

total time = 6+4=10s

average speed = total distance ÷ total time

average speed = 85÷10 = 8.5
