Explanation:

u= 25 m/s

v= 0 m/s

t= 12 s

by v = u + at,

0 = 25 + a(12)

a = -25/12 m/s^2

by s = ut + 1/2 at^2

s = 25(12) + 1/2(-25/12)(12)^2

s = 300 + 1/2(-25)(12)

s = 300 + ( - 150)

s = 300 - 150

s = 150 m

Hope you are satisfied.

Answer:

acceleration = -25/12 and distance=150m

Explanation:

intial velocity (u)  =25m/s

final velocity   (v) = 0m/s

time (t)=12s

acceleration =v-u /t

                     =0-25/12

                     =-25/12

distance = vt - 1/2 at²

              = -1/2 × -25/12 × (12)²

              =150m
