as we all know that av=total distance /total time
according to question
in first s=10m int=4
and at 2nd case
s=10 and t=1
av=10+10/4+1
av=4m/s

Answer 2

average velocity = total distance cover / total time taken

in case 1st s=10m and t=4s .......(1)

in case 2nd s=10m and t=1s .......(2)

by adding both equations

average velocity = 10+10 /4+1

average velocity = 20/5 = 4m/s
