In case of A to B-

Speed = 15km/hr

Distance = 15km

Time = ?

Speed = Distance/Time

Time = Distance/Speed

Time = 15km/15km/1hr

Time = 15km × 1hr/15km

Time = 1hr

In case of B to A-

Speed = 10km/hr

Distance = 10

Time = ?

Time = Distance/Speed

Time = 10km/10km/1hr

Time = 10km×1hr/10km

Time = 1hr

Average speed = Total distance covered/Total time taken

Avg. Speed = 10+15km/1+1hr

= 25km/2hr

= 12.5km/hr

Thus, the average speed of the object is 12.5km/hr.
