Data:
Acceleration = a= 10 m/s²
Initial velocity = u = 0 m/s   (∵object starts its motion from rest)
Time = t = 5 sec
Distance covered = S = ?
Solution:
By using the formula:
S = u t + 1/2 a t²
S = (0) (5) + 1/2 (10) (5)²
S = 1/2 (10) (25)
S = 250/2
S = 125 m
Which is the required answer.

Acceleration = 10 m/s^2

Time = 5 sec

Initial velocity = 0 m/s

So, we have to put second equation of motion

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

  = (0)(5) + 1/2 (10)(5)^2

  = 125 m

Hence the object travelled 125 m in 5 sec

hope this answer help u
