An object undergoes an acceleration of 10m/s² starting from rest. Find the distance travelled in 5s.

acceleration=velocity/time (*refers to multiplication)
                  v =a*t
                       =10*5
                          =50m/s
velocity=distance/time (x be the distance)
             =x/t
            x=v*t
               =50/5
               =10m
       ∴distance=10m

Explanation:

     s = u t + 1/2 a t²

u = 0

         s = 0 + 1/2 * 10 m/s² * 5²

            = 125 meters
