Initial velocity (u) = 0,
Uniform acceleration (a) = 8 m/s²
Time (t) = 1 s

Distance travelled in 1 second
= ut + 1/2at²
= 0 + 1/2× 8 ×1²
= 4 m  Ans.

Given,

Acceleration of object=8m/s²
Time taken=1second

To Find,

Distance travelled by an object.

Solution,

Initial velocity ,u= 0 m/s

Acceleration ,a= 8m/s ²

time taken ,t= 1 sec

So, we have to find distance ,

So distance will be,

S = ut+ 1/2at ²

⇒S = 0 × 1 + 1/2 ×8×1×1

⇒S = 4 × 1

⇒S = 4m

Hence, the distance travelled 4m.
