An object weighs 8.5N on the moon. The gravitational field strength on the moon is 1.7N/kg. What is mass of the object.
plz answer fast , it's urgent.

weight = mass × gravity strength

8.5 = mass × 1.7

mass = 8.5 / 1.7 = 5kg

I wonder if Moon(Ian) Physics obey the same laws of physics =_=

Obviously,
--> F = m * g( of moon )
=> m = ( 8.5 N / 1.7 N ) kg
=> m = 5 kg

✓✓ Thus, mass of Object is 5 kg
