it is 10/6N on the moon because moon's gravity is one sixth the gravity of the earth

❄️ Answer with solution :

\\

We know that,

Weight of object on the moon

= (1/6) × its weight on the Earth.

\\

That is,

\sf \pink{ W_m} = \dfrac{W_e }{6} = \dfrac{10}{6} \: N. \\ \\ = \sf \pink{1.67 \: N.} \\ \\

Thus, the weight of object on the surface of the moon would be 1.67 N.
