An object when placed in front of a convex lens produces a real and inverted image 2.5 times magnified at a distance of 50 cm from the lens. Calculate the focal length of the lens.​

u=(-50)

m=2.5, m=v/u

so, v=(-125)

Now according to lens formula ,

1/f=1/v-1/u

1/f =3/250

f=250/3= 8.33...
