Yes, the displacement may be zero if the object returns to it's initial position. So the distance may be something but displacement will be zero.

Hey here is your answer....

A body can has a zero displacement thought it has covered some distances..It happens in the case that a body revolves around a circular path and stops revolving from where it was started.

That is when the final and initial point of any distance covered by a body is the same point, it has a zero displacement.
