Angle of elevation is 45°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Height of tower = 24m

Height of man = 2.5m

Then relative height of tower with respect to height of man will be

24 - 2.5 = 21.5 m

Distance form tower to man = 21.5 m

From figure (attached)

Given values show the trigonometric ratio,

Tan(theta) = B/P

Tan(theta) = 21.5/ 21.5

Tan(theta) = 1

Or

Theta = arctan (1)

Or

Theta = 45°

Is the angle of elevation from eye of observer to the top of the tower.

Hope it helps
