An observer flying in a plane In an aeroplane at an altitude of 900m observes two shops in front of him which are in same direction at an an angle of depression of 60 and 30 respectively.find the distance between these two ships.

Distance between the ships is h[\cot \alpha- \cot \beta]=900(\cot 30^{o}-\cot 60^{o})=600\sqrt{3}.

the Distance Between two ships is  90√3-90÷√3=60√3
