13 just put x +×^2 =182

rajkumarmarskoous9mw: Can we put (2x +1)+(2x+1)^2=182
rajkumarmarskoous9mw: Because 2x+1is a odd no.

13

Let number be x

From question

x+x²=182

x+x²-182=0

x²+x-182=0

x²+14x-13x-182=0

x(x+14)-13(x+14)=0

(x+14)(x-13)=0

So x is either -14 or 13.

-14 is not possible due to the given criterion of the question

So the number is 13.

Because 2x+1is a odd no.
holatingomani: No
holatingomani: Solving it you’ll get different answers
holatingomani: And 2x+1 is not odd
holatingomani: because x can be a decimal like 0.5
