an office, 5m long, 4m wide and 2.5m high is to have its walls covered with plywood panels. the plywood is sold in sheets 3m long and 1.5m wide. if there are no horizontal joints in the panels between floor and ceiling, how many sheets will be needed? allow a saving of 1 sheet for doors and windows which are not paneled

=42.5m*2

Area where sheet is to be put

=42.5-(5*4)

=42.5-20

= 22.5m*2

area of plywood panel= 3*1.5=4.5m*2

number of plywood panel=22.5/4.5

=5

if one sheet for doors and windows is use than number of plywood panel=4
