An officer want's to arrange 202508 soldiers in the form of a square. He found that after arranging 8 men were extra. Find the number of soldiers in the front row

the no. of men that are extra must be subtracted

that is 202508-8=202500

then √202500=450

therefore the no. of men in front line is 450.
