Given,

An oil can is in the shape of cuboid.

The length of the can/cuboid is 35cm.

The breath of the can/cuboid is 20cm.

Volume of oil is 14 liters.

Then,the height of the can/cuboid = ?

It is given that volume of oil = 14 liters

We know that,

1 \: liter = 1000 {cm}^{3}

14 \: liters = 14000 {cm}^{3}

Now, let the height of the can/cuboid be 'h'.

Volumeof cuboid = length(l) ×breadth(b) ×height(h)

14000 {cm}^{3}  = 35 \times 20 \times h

14000 {cm}^{3}  = 700 \times h

h =  \frac{14000}{700}

h = 20cm

Therefore the height of the can/cuboid is 20cm.

Verification:

volume of cuboid = l×b×h

14000 {cm}^{3}  = 35cm \times 20cm \times 20cm

14000 {cm}^{3}  = 14000 {cm}^{3}
