An old man goes for a walk on a semi circular track of radius 40m;if he starts from one end of the track and reaches to the other end, the distance covered by the man and his displacement will respectively be

Distance =pai*radius =3.14*40=126
Displacement =2*r= 80

displacement= shortest distance= (40+40)m= 80m

distance= circumference of the semi-circle=  \pi  r = 126m
