Given :

A3+8B = 150

To Find :

A+B

Solution:

•It is given that A3+8B = 150

where , A & B are digits

•If we will follow the laws of addition

A 3

+8 B

_____

150

we get , 3 + B = 0 i.e. 3 + B = 10

=> B = 7

Since 3 + B = 10

so 1 of 10 will be carried forward to A + 8

=> A + 8 + 1 = 15

=> A = 6

or we know that B = 7

then we'll get

A 3

+ 8 7

______

150

•From here we can clearly deduce that A = 6

•Now , A + B = 6 + 7

A + B = 13

•Hence , A + B = 13
