Answer:

Sprints or dashes are kind of sports which requires running a track or a short distance in a given amount of time. This used to be a game in Ancient Olympics.  The normal rate of heart for any adult ranges between 60 and 100 bpm per minute. In case of a trained athlete the normal rate of a resting heart is 40-60 bpm. When  the old woman joined the dash sprint, her heart rate gone high as it needed to pump oxygenated blood into her muscle. This will be accompanied with shortness of breath and  it is very likely for her to feel exhausted afterwards.
