An open box of length 1.5 m breadth 1m and height 1m is to be made . How much sheet metal wiil be needed to make it ? The inside and outside surface is to be painted from rust proof paint at the rate of 150 rupees per square meter . how much will it cost to paint the box?.

here is your answer mate ....

surface area of box = 2(lb+bh+hl)-lb

=2(1.5×1+1×1+1×1.5)-1.5×1=2(4)-1.5

8-1.5= 6.5m^2

also the adding same surface area of inside.... we get... 13m^2
