An open container made up of metal sheet is in the form of a frustum of a cone of height 7 cm with radii of lower and upper circular ends are 4 cm and 10tm respectively. Find the cost of oil which can completely fill the container at the rate of 100 per litre.

h = 7cm

short radius is 4cm

upper radius is 10cm

Formula of the volume of a frustum, v= 1/3*pi*h*(R^2 + r^2 + R*r)

v= 1/3*22/7*7*(10^2 + 4^2 + 10*4)

v= 22/3(100 + 16 + 40)

v= 22/3*156

v = 1144 cm^3

1144/1000 = 1.144

price of 1lt oil = 100

1.144 × 100 = 1144 Rs
