Step-by-step explanation:

we have to find the cost of painting the it's curved surface area and base.

so we will use CSA+1b formula.

given diameter is 3.5m

therefore radius is 3.5/2

=1.75m

height is 7m

CSA+1b of the tank=2πrh+πr²

=(2×22/7×1.75×7)+(22/7×1.75×1.75)

=(44×1.75)+(67.375/7)

=77+67.375/7

=539+67.375/7

=606.375/7

=86.625m²

cost of painting if per m² costs ₹5=86.625×5

=₹433.125

hope this helps..!

Answer:

The C.S.A of Cylinder is 86.54.m^{2}..The rate of painting the cylindrical tank is ₹432.7

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter = 3.5m.

Radius = 3.5m/2

           = 1.75m

Height -= 7m

Area to be painted  = 2πrh + πr^{2}

                              = 2 x 3.14 x 1.75 x 7 + 3.14 x 1.75 x 1.75

                              = 76.93m^{2} + 9.61

                              = 86.54.m^{2}

The rate of painting the cylinder = ₹5 x 86.54.m^{2}

                                                       = ₹432.7
