​ an open flask contains air at 27degree celsius .calculate the temperature at which it should be heated so that 1/3rd of air measured at 27 degree celsius escapes out

27°C= 27+273= 300 Kelvin  

Let at temperature1 (T1), volume = 1 litre

When ⅓ air escapes out, air left = ⅔ litre  

use V1T1= V2T2

1 x 300 = ⅔ x T2

T2= 450 Kelvin  

ie 450-273= 177°C
