Open pipe length = 30cm

Closed pipe length = 23cm

frequency = n; Speed = V

c = end correction

First overtone, the length of the pipe + end correction

λ = v/n = 30+2c ----------------(1)

closed pipe overtone,

3λ/4 = v/n = 23+c -- (2)

equating 1 and 2

23+c = 3/4 × ( 30+2c)

c = 1cm
