Answer:

160m² and Rs.3157

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of Open rectangular area = L×B

= 26m × 18m

= 468m²

Now, length of Turf = Length of rectangular area - 2× width of the path

= 26m - 2×2m = 26-4m = 22m

Similarly Breadth of turf = Breadth of rectangluar area - 2× width of path = 18 -4m

= 14m

Now, Area of turf = 22m × 14m

= 308m²

So Area of the Path = Area of Rectangular area - Area of turf

= 468m² - 308m²

= 160m²

Cost of laying the turf = Area of turf × Cost/m²

= 308m² × Rs. 10.25/m²

= Rs. 3157.00
