Heya....

Here's your answer....

inner side of cube = 25 cm

inner surface area = lateral surface area + bottom

= 4a² + a = 5a²

= 5 × 25 × 25

= 3125 cm²

cost of 1 me = Rs. 0.15

for 3125 cm² = Rs. 15 × 3125

= Rs. 468.75

Thanks...!!!

Given : An open tank is in the shape of a cube. The measure of its inner edge is 25 cm.

To Find :  Cost of painting the inner sides at the rate of Rs. 0.15 per sq. cm.

Solution:

inner edge = 25 cm

tank is open hence no top

So surface area = 5 (25)²

= 3125 cm²

Cost of painting  = 0.15 * 3125

= 468.75 Rs

cost of painting the inner sides  = 468.75 Rs
