Answer :-

  • Total Cost painting the inner side of tank = 468.75 Rs

Given :-

  • Side of Open tank = 25 cm
  • Cost of painting 1 m² = 0.15 Rs

To Find :-

  • Total Cost painting the inner side of tank = ?

Explanation :-

As above given, the Water Tank is Open, and we have to find the cost of painting the Inner Sides of Tank which include its's 'All Four Sides' and 'Base'

\blue { \boxed { \bf \bigstar \: Area \: for \: Painting = CSA \: of \: tank + Base \: Area \: \bigstar }}

\rm \hookrightarrow CSA \: of \: cube + Base \: Area

\rm \hookrightarrow 4a^2 + a^2

\rm \hookrightarrow 5a^2

\rm \hookrightarrow 5(25)^2

\rm \hookrightarrow 5 \times 25 \times 25

\rm \hookrightarrow 5 \times 625

\purple { \bf \hookrightarrow 3125 \: cm^2 }

Now, we will find the cost of painting the this Area.

\rm \hookrightarrow Cost \: of \: Painting \: 1 \: m^2 = \bold{0.15 \: R_S}

\rm \hookrightarrow Cost \: of \: Painting \: 3125 \: m^2

    \rm = (3125 \times 0.15) \: R_S

    \green { \underline { \boxed { \bf = 468.75\: R_S }}}

Hence, the Cost of Painting the Inner sides of the tank is 468.75 Rs.
