an open tank of dimensions 12m 10m 8 m is made of iron sheet if the cost of iron sheet of breadth 4cm wide is rupee 20 per meter find the total cost of the sheet

open tank area = 10*12*8=960m²

iron sheet area =4*4=16m²

then sheet required to cover the tank is =960/16 =60m²

1m²=20rupees

60 m²=20*60 =1200 rupees.
