Initial temperature, T1 = (10 +273) K = 383 K

Final temperature, T2 = (400 + 273) K = 673 K

 n_{1}T_{1}  =n_{2} T_{2}  </p><p>[tex] \frac{n_{2}}{n_{1}}  = \frac{383 K}{673 K}

= 0.6

Fraction of the air expelled out = 1 - 0.6 =  \frac{2}{5}
