wall is 'a' units, express the inner dimensions

Answer:

Inner dimensions: Length (x-a), breadth (y-a), height (z-a)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, the outer dimensions of cuboid are given as,

length = x units

breadth = y units

height = z units

We can understand that its outer dimension includes its thickness.

If we subtract the thickness from outer dimension, we get the corresponding inner dimensions.

Hence, the inner dimensions:

length (inner) = length (outer) - a = x - a

breadth (inner) = breadth (outer) - a =y - a

length (inner) = length (outer) - a =z -a

Length=X units

Breadth=y units

Height=Z units

Inner dimensions is same as outer dimensions

Let the wall thickness

Length=X -a units

Breadth=Y-a units

Height=Z-a units
