Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

Height of water tank = 16 cm

Area of contact surface = 1420 cm^2

● Explanation -

We know that,

capacity of tank = volume of tank

4800 = 20 × 15 × height

Height = 4800 / 300

Height = 16 cm

Area of the surface in contact with the cuboid is -

Area of contact surface = area of base + lateral surface area

Area of contact surface = lb + 2bh + 2lh

Area of contact surface = 20×15 + 2×15×16 + 2×20×16

Area of contact surface = 300 + 480 + 640

Area of contact surface = 1420 cm^2

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
