an ore contains 15 precent of iron. how much one will be required to get 72 kg of iron?​

let the mass of ore be x

therefore,

15%x = 72

15/100 x = 72

15x/100 = 72

15x = 72 *100

15x = 7200

x = 7200 /15

x = 480 kg

Content of iron in ore = 15

= 15 kg

Therefore, 15 kg iron in 100 kg ore

Therefore, in 36 kg iron = 100/15 x 36

= 240 kg of ore...
