C= 80/12 = 6.6/6.6= 1

H = 20/1= 20/6.6= 3

empirical formula= CH3

n= 30/15

n= 2

molecular formula= C2H6

Explanation:

\huge{\boxed{\mathcal\pink{\fcolorbox{red}{white}{GURJARI HERE}}}}

A sample of a compound is 80% carbon and 20% hydrogen by ... And thus moles of carbon≡80⋅g12.011⋅g⋅mol−1=6.66⋅mol . And thus moles of hydrogen≡20⋅g1.008⋅g⋅mol−1=19.8⋅mol . Clearly, n=2 , and the MOLECULAR FORMULA is C2H6 .
