C-38.71% -38.71/12 - 3.225833 -3.225833/3.21375 -1
H-9.67%-9.67/1 - 9.67/3.21375-3
O-100-(38.71+9.67) =51.42-51.42%-51.42/16-3.21375/3.21375 -1
So empirical formula is CH3O. in first step divide %by 1 molar atom of element and then by smallest value among the three .Hope it helps you.... Mark me as Brainliest.
