Given:

Mass of nitrogen in the organic compound = 0.7%

To find:

Minimum molecular weight of the organic compound which has 0.7% of nitrogen in it.

Solution:

Let the molecular weight of organic compound be X.

Since, the organic compound has 0.7% of Nitrogen,

0.7% of X is equal to molecular weight of Nitrogen.

Since molecular weight of Nitrogen = 14

0.7% of X= 14

7/10 X = 14

X = (14*10) / 7

X = 20

Therefore, the minimum molecular  weight is 20.
