Answer:

carbon contains 40%

hydrogen 6.66%

and oxygen 53.34%

we can add this compound

40+6.66+53.34=100.00

atomic mass of carbon =12

hydrogen =1

oxygen=16

relative no. of carbon atom= 40÷12= 3.33

hydrogen atom = 6.66÷1 = 6.66

oxygen atom = 53.34÷16= 3.33

we can take a small no. in our answer that we gat in relative no.

simple ratio of carbon = 3.33/3.33=1

hydrogen = 6.66/3.33=2

oxygen =3.33/3.33=1

now calculation of molecular mass

empirical formula mass = 12×1+1×2+16×1= 30

molecular mass =30× 3= 90

formula is C3H46O3 Answer
