p is ethanol(c2h5oh) and q is ethanoic acid(ch 3cooh) and k2cr2o7 is potassium dichromate.

● Compounds -
Compound P => Ethanol
Compound Q => Ethanoic acid
Compound R => Hydrogen

● Reactions -
Ethanol (P) gets oxidized with potasium chromate to ethanoic acid (Q).
CH3CH2OH + 2[O] --> CH3COOH + H2O

Ethanoic acid (Q) on reaction with sodium gives sodium ethanoate with release of hydrogen gas (R) making pop sound.
CH3COOH + 2Na --> CH3COONa + H2
