1.organic compound X with molecular formula C2H6O is Ethyl Alcohol or Ethanol.
2. Oxidation of Ethanol by using strong oxidising agent gives compound Y called as Ethanoic acid[Acetic acid].

Chemical equation:
                                 Acidified K2Cr2O7
CH3CH2OH  + 2[O]  ----------------------> CH3COOH +H2O
                                   Alkaline KMnO4

3.Ethanoic  acid reacts with Sodium hydrogencarbonate to evolve brisk effervesence of carbon dioxide gas.

Chemical equation:
CH3COOH + NaHCO3----->CH3COONa  +  CO2 +H20

4) Ethanoic acid reacts with ethanol in presence of Conc. H2SO4 to give compound Z called Esters.
Chemical equation:
                                     Conc.H2SO4
CH3COOH + C2H5OH --------------------->CH3COOC2H5 +H2O

so  compound X is Ethyl alcohol.
compound Y is ethanoic acid
compound z is esters.
