An organic compound 'X' réacts with 2, 4. DNP
and produces organge precipitate. It does not
reduce Tollen's regent. It react with 1, and
NaOH and give yellow coloured iodoform. X is
1) CH2-CH2-CHO 2) CC1, -CO-CH,
3) CH, -CO-C,H, 4) C,H,-CO-C,H,

3 is the correct answer.

Aldehyde and ketone gives 2,4-DNP test.

Aldehyde can reduce tollen's reagent but ketone can't. So option 1 must be wrong.

Iodoform test can be given by only methyl ketone and methyl carbinol.

So,option 2 and 4 must be wrong.

Option 3 satisfies all the conditions.

It have methyl ketone.
