Answer: There are many different kinds of species and they are dependent on each other for their survival as they all are a part of biodiversity and the interaction between species themselves and with their surroundings help them to survive.

Explanation: The different species are divided into different trophic depending upon who eats who and the first level is producers which can make their food using sunlight for eg. plants and then comes consumers which eat the producers and they are herbivores, carnivores or omnivores and depending upon nature of the food and eating habits they are considered as 1, 2 or 3 consumers after that comes decomposers which eat the detritus and decompose the matter and prey are the ones which are eaten by predators and they can be consumers.

so the correct answer is a consumer.
