An organization is having n local area networks (lans) to be connected together to form a big lan over a 10 km. Fibre optic cable as backbone for bus network. Out of the available lans, n1 are bus networks (running on tpw-1, each containing 12 nodes, each segment of 20 centimeter can hold 8 nodes), n2 are ring networks (running on coaxial cable, each containing 22 nodes, each segment of 1 meter can hold 5 nodes), n3 are star networks (running on tpw-2, each containing 8 nodes, each segment is of 20 centimeter) and n4 are mesh networks (running on coaxial cable and each contains 8 nodes).
a.Draw the structure of thus formed network by explicitly showing the use of connecting devices (repeaters/bridges/switches).
b.Find the total cost of wires assuming that fibre optical cable, tpw-1/2 and coaxial cables are at the rate of rs. 50/-, 20/- and 30/- per meter.
