For Ostrich:

Initial Velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Final Velocity (v) = 144 km/h = 42.75 m/s

Time taken (t) = 2 sec.

Thus,

Acceleration produced (a) = (v-u)/t

= (42.75-0)/2

= 42.75/2

= 21.375 m/s^2

For Leopard:

Initial Velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Final Velocity (v) = 108 km/h = 30 m/s

Time taken (t) = 3 sec.

Thus,

Acceleration produced (a) = (v-u)/t

= (30-0)/3

= 30/3

= 10 m/s^2

Hence, Ratio of their acceleration:

Acc(ostrich)/Acc(leopard) = 21.375/10

= 2.1375

2.14

Hence, Ratio of acceleration of ostrich to acceleration of leopard is 2.14
