Now,

v=st⟹t=sv

The time intervals are, therefore,

t1=sv1

t2=sv2

t3=sv3

The average speed is given by,

⟨v⟩= Total DistanceTotal Time

⟨v⟩=s+s+ssv1+sv2+sv3

⟨v⟩=3ss(1v1+1v2+1v3

⟨v⟩=31v1+1v2+1v3

⟨v⟩=3v1v2v3v1v2+v2v3+v3v1
