Answer:

It has been always a big reason to worry that the dependency of the people mostly living in rural sector and some part of urban sector, out of which, majority are involved in agricultural work, some in construction work and remaining in manufacturing and service, is increasing at an alarming rate.

Explanation:

This over dependence has become the reason for India’s unemployment and under-employment in the recent years:

  • There is no security in the jobs of unorganized sector.
  • The jobs of these sector are not controlled by the Indian government.
  • The employment is mostly season based.
  • There is no daily fixed income, no health benefits, low income, paid holidays or rewards.
  • Workplace harassment specially for women is a common picture in every job.
  • Any kind of legal action or objection taken by the workers in these sectors is taken as a step of impairing.
  • Many of the workers in an unorganized sector are uneducated which makes them more vulnerable to diseases and most importantly unawareness of basic labor laws, work ethics etc.
  • Most exploited sector among these are the children. Instead of encouraging them to go to schools and study, they are made to work in every possible sector. The sad part of the story is, due to poverty, child labor is encouraged by their parents, which forces the children to spend their major time in earning money. Child abuse, trafficking, slavery, hazardous work puts the innocent child towards the risk of death, injury or disease.
